Friday, February 18, 2022 – ANC Leader Musalia Mudavadi has sensationally claimed that ODM Leader Raila Odinga cannot win the August 9th presidential election without the support of former National Super Alliance (NASA) co-principals.
Speaking at Kimorori ground in Maragua Constituency yesterday, Mudavadi said it will be mission impossible for Baba to beat Deputy President William Ruto and succeed Uhuru Kenyatta as president without him, Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetang’ula (Ford Kenya), unless the Deep State rigs Ruto out in favour of Raila.
According to the Kenya Kwanza leader, Raila had already lost the support of the Western and Eastern regions, which are influential in deciding who will win the presidential election.
“Sasa sisi Kalonzo, Weta na mimi hatuko huko, watashinda namna gani (Now, Kalonzo, Wetangula and I are not on his side, how will he (Raila Odinga) win?)” Mudavadi posed.
This comes even as the Kenya Kwanza team, led by Ruto, is in the process of reaching out to Kalonzo to join their ranks.
While urging Kalonzo not to join Raila’s Azimio la Umoja, Mudavadi said he together with the Wiper leader and the Bungoma Senator had supported Raila Odinga for “far too long” with no tangible results.
He said the recently formed Kenya Kwanza coalition was targeting a landslide win in the August 9, General Election by garnering at least 70 percent in the first round.
“We are assured of winning the poll by 10.00 am but with Kalonzo on board, we shall have finished the business by 9:00 am,” he said.
He maintained that Raila was a Government Project to be manipulated by his political masters was he to find himself at State House.
