The latest TIFA opinion poll shows DP RUTO is still ahead of RAILA ODINGA in the race to succeed UHURU – LOOK!

 


Thursday, February 17, 2022 – An opinion poll conducted by TIFA Research Company has revealed the man who will probably succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta in August.

The 2022 presidential election is a two-horse between former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto.

Amani National Congress party leader Musalia Mudavadi and his Wiper Democratic Movement counterpart, Kalonzo Musyoka, have also expressed their interests in succeeding President Uhuru Kenyatta in August.

According to the poll, if elections are called today, DP Ruto will get 38.7 percent of the total votes followed by Raila Odinga with 27 percent of the votes.

On party popularity, Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance (UDA) is the most popular party with 35 percent followed by Raila’s Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) with 24 percent.

Jubilee Party was the third-most preferred party with 4 percent. 

Wiper, Kanu, Ford Kenya, Moses Kuria’s Chama Cha Kazi, and the newly formed DAP-K party shared the rest of the remaining percentage.
