Shock as Senator CLEOPHAS MALALA changes tune on MUDAVADI’s presidency as he endorses another candidate – Look!

Friday, February 18, 2022 – Controversial Kakamega Senator, Cleophas Malala, sparked speculation yesterday when he endorsed Deputy President William Ruto for the presidency ahead of the August elections.

In a statement on Facebook, Malala candidly said the Western region will vote for Ruto, raising eyebrows whether ANC Leader Musalia Mudavadi had reneged on his promise to reach the ballot.

Malala is one of Mudavadi’s ardent supporters who played a crucial role in his entry to Ruto’s camp.

“Western Kenya region is fully behind William Ruto as the next president of the Republic of Kenya. We have voted for Raila Odinga enough times and we have nothing to show for it as a region. It’s time to change the players in the game,” Malala said.

Malala sentiment comes even as Mudavadi maintained that the Kenya Kwanza Alliance is yet to pick its flag-bearer for the August 9 General Election.

Mudavadi ruled out claims that Ruto will be the coalition’s presidential candidate.

Kenya Kwanza brings together Ruto, Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula of Kenya.
