Tuesday, February 22, 2022 – Kipipiri Member of Parliament, Amos Kimunya and former Water and Irrigation Cabinet Secretary, Sicily Kariuki, got a rude shock on Monday after residents walked out of their meeting in Nyandarua when they started drumming up support for former Prime Minister Raila Odinga‘s presidential bid in August.
In the video, Kimunya, who is also the National Assembly Majority Leader, is heard campaigning for Raila Odinga by telling the residents that he is a ‘safe pair of hands’ compared to Deputy President William Ruto who he termed as a thief.
Immediately Kimunya called Ruto a thief, residents started walking out and after a few minutes, the venue was left with empty seats, mosquitoes and flies.
Nyandarua County is a stronghold of DP Ruto and trying to sell Raila Odinga there is like selling a pig in a Saudi Arabian mosque.
Here is the video of Kimunya and CS Kariuki addressing mosquitoes and flies after they tried to campaign for Raila Odinga in Nyandarua.
