Thursday, February 17, 2022 – Central Organization for Trade Unions (COTU) Boss, Francis Atwoli, has sensationally claimed that ANC Leader Musalia Mudavadi was bought with a few coins to join Deputy President William Ruto’s camp.
While terming Mudavadi as a cheap politician, the firebrand unionist said the former Vice-President was so cheap that he was bought with a few shillings.
“Musalia Mudavadi is a cheap politician; he can disappear on a shilling. He has ashamed us,” Atwoli said.
According to Atwoli, the Kenya Kwanza co-principal ashamed the entire Luhya community for cheapening himself.
He went on to brag how Mudavadi has benefited a lot from him despite the disparaging remarks he lashed out at him.
“Sijakunywa chai kwa nyumba yao. Sijakula kwao, sijakula kwake. Yeye amekula kwangu, ametumia pesa zangu (I’ve not had tea or eaten a meal at his home. But he has eaten a meal at my home. He has even used my money in his political activities),” Atwoli said.
Atwoli was responding to recent remarks by Mudavadi, who had claimed that the COTU boss was talking like someone who has come from Mathari mental hospital when he told him to respect President Uhuru Kenyatta after helping him in the burial of his mother.
