Tuesday, January 19, 2016 – In January last year, Popular Kenyan actor, Innocent Njuguna, got involved in a grisly road accident which nearly claimed his life.
Innocent, who is known for his role in Pendo which airs on NTV, was riding his motorbike when he had a head-on collision with a pickup.
The sultry talented actor suffered serious injuries and was admitted at Agha Khan Hospital but was later transferred to Avenue Hospital because of financial issues.
He underwent a successful surgery and he’s now alive and kicking.
On Monday, Innocent took to social media and expressed his gratitude to all those who stood with him.
“It has been exactly one year today……One year since the grisly road accident that nearly claimed my life…….and yet here I am…..call it luck..call it a miracle….I am grateful…happy to see another day..happy to do it all over again….. I want to thank you my Facebook friends/family for your prayers,encouraging messages that flooded my account and phone calls..I am forever great full. Thank you to the most high…My God.. who has been the source of my strength…my guide. my protection..my shield…God has blessed me in ways I cannot even start to comprehend..I have seen his hand. Special thanks to my family immediate and extended,”
