Wednesday, October 7, 2026 - Composer, producer and performer Anna Meredith has signed with Decca’s Mercury KX, marking a major new chapter for one of Britain’s most distinctive contemporary music voices.
The move comes as she prepares to release Darling, her first new studio album in several years, with the record scheduled for February 12, 2027.
The deal puts Meredith on a label known for supporting artists who blur the boundaries between classical, electronic, ambient and experimental music.
Her new album is already gaining momentum through the release of “Dusky,” while Meredith describes Darling as an energetic project built around intensity, movement and release.
The signing arrives as Meredith continues expanding her influence across music, film and television. Her recent scoring work includes Tuesday and The End We Start From, while her previous album FIBS earned a Mercury Prize nomination.
With Darling now on the horizon, the Mercury KX partnership gives Meredith a fresh platform to push her genre-defying sound to a wider audience.
