Tuesday, September 22, 2026 - Good Morning Britain entertainment editor Richard Arnold has confirmed that he has married his longtime partner, Stuart, after 23 years together.
The 56-year-old presenter revealed the news on the programme on Monday, September 21, after a social-media post over the weekend initially left fans thinking the couple had announced an engagement.
Arnold said the couple tied the knot on Friday, September 18, at Hackney Town Hall in London, surrounded by close friends and family. He described the ceremony as low-key and revealed that he wore a kilt sourced from the Good Morning Britain wardrobe department.
Their Cockapoo, Clementine, also featured in the wedding celebrations, adding a personal touch to the announcement.
The wedding announcement quickly attracted congratulations from Arnold’s television colleagues and celebrity friends. Arnold had captioned his Instagram wedding photos “The splice of life” with a ring emoji, creating the initial confusion.
