EMILY ATACK apologises to Spanish locals during lavish second wedding

Wednesday, September 16, 2026 - Emily Atack has apologised to locals in the Spanish town of Mojácar after her lavish second wedding celebration with husband Alistair Garner took over parts of the picturesque hilltop community.

The Rivals star acknowledged that the scale of the celebration was “a bit over the top” as almost 200 guests gathered for the event.

The actress and Garner exchanged vows again at a 16th-century church, just weeks after their first wedding in Bedfordshire.

Atack arrived at the ceremony in a red Cadillac and was joined by their two-year-old son, Barney, while a large group of friends and family gathered for the Spanish celebration.

The second wedding featured a star-studded guest list and a lavish reception in the town, with Atack choosing Mojácar because of its personal connection to her childhood.

Despite apologising to residents for the spectacle, the celebration went ahead with local permissions for parts of the area to be used exclusively for the festivities.
