Saturday, August 8, 2026 - A young migrant from sub-Saharan Africa has died after falling into the sea while attempting to reach Spain’s North African enclave of Ceuta by paraglider from Morocco.
Spanish authorities said the incident occurred Friday, with the migrant losing control of the aircraft before plunging into the water. Emergency teams recovered his body, adding another death to an already devastating period of migration attempts around Ceuta.
