Wednesday, August 25, 2026 - Gaby Roslin has revealed the demanding fitness routine she follows at 62, showing that staying active is a daily commitment rather than a quick fix.
The presenter starts her mornings with 60 squats and “kitchen press-ups” against the worktop before heading to the gym for free weights, a high-intensity interval circuit and around 10 minutes of core exercises. When she is short on time, she switches to a 20- to 30-minute HIIT workout—but she still makes sure to get outside for her daily walk, averaging between seven and 10 miles.
Her kitchen counter has become an unexpected part of the routine, allowing Roslin to fit simple strength exercises into her morning before a formal workout. She has also spoken about her wider approach to food, including eating plenty of plants and fermented foods while limiting ultra-processed options.
In earlier interviews, she described breakfasts featuring eggs or tofu, spinach and mushrooms, and said she avoids late-night snacking while spacing out her meals.
Roslin’s approach is less about chasing a perfect body and more about making movement and healthy choices part of everyday life.
She credits walking, weight training and staying active with helping her feel physically and mentally stronger, while also emphasizing that health should not become an obsession with age or appearance. Her routine offers a clear takeaway: consistency, regular movement and practical food choices can matter far more than short-lived fitness trends.
