Venezuela earthquake death toll rises to 3,889

Friday, June 10, 2026- The death toll from Venezuela's devastating twin earthquakes has climbed to 3,889, as emergency crews continue searching through collapsed buildings in the hardest-hit areas.

Thousands more have been injured, while nearly 18,000 people remain homeless after the powerful quakes caused widespread destruction across communities.

Authorities say rescue and recovery operations are ongoing despite difficult conditions, with local and international aid teams working to deliver food, medical supplies, and shelter to survivors.

Officials have warned that the humanitarian crisis remains severe, as damaged infrastructure and displaced families place increasing pressure on emergency services.

As Venezuela grapples with the aftermath of one of its deadliest natural disasters in recent history, attention is shifting toward long-term recovery and rebuilding.

Relief organizations continue to appeal for additional support, while thousands of families face an uncertain future as they begin the difficult process of rebuilding their lives.
