Tuesday July 21, 2026- Erbil International Airport in Iraq has resumed flight operations after a temporary suspension, restoring travel services for passengers and airlines.
The reopening comes as authorities work to stabilise aviation activity and ensure normal movement through one of the region’s key transport hubs.
The temporary halt affected scheduled flights and created disruption for travellers, but airport officials confirmed that operations have restarted following safety and security assessments. Airlines are now expected to gradually return to regular schedules as passenger demand picks up.
