TRUMP says Iran targets will expand, honors U.S. troops killed in war

Tuesday, March 10, 2026-Donald Trump has warned that American military operations against Iran will intensify, signaling that additional targets could soon be struck as the conflict continues to escalate. The statement came as Iran threatened to disrupt global oil shipments and launched retaliatory strikes across the region, raising fears that the war could spread further across the Middle East.

Trump said the United States would respond forcefully to Iranian actions and indicated that the list of potential targets inside Iran could grow. The administration argues the campaign is aimed at weakening Iran’s missile systems and military infrastructure while preventing the country from threatening U.S. forces and allies. The conflict, which began after joint U.S. and Israeli strikes, has already triggered missile and drone attacks across multiple countries in the region.

At the same time, Trump attended a solemn ceremony at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware to honor American service members killed in the war. The president saluted the returning remains of U.S. troops and expressed condolences to their families, calling the soldiers “heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice.” Officials have warned that more casualties could occur as the military campaign continues.
