Sunday, January 18, 2026- Emmy-winning actor and director Timothy Busfield is facing mounting child sexual abuse charges in New Mexico linked to alleged incidents involving two 11-year-old twin boys on the set of the television series The Cleaning Lady.
Busfield surrendered to authorities earlier this month and is currently being held without bond as he awaits a pretrial hearing scheduled for January 20. Prosecutors have charged him with two counts of criminal sexual contact with a minor and one count of child abuse, and additional claims from a separate alleged victim dating back years are also part of ongoing pretrial filings.
