MEGHAN TRAINOR addresses ASHLEY TISDALE’s toxic mom group takedown

Sunday, January 11, 2026- Meghan Trainor has weighed in on the online drama sparked by Ashley Tisdale’s viral essay about leaving what Tisdale described as a “toxic mom group.” In her piece for The Cut, Tisdale wrote about feeling frozen out and excluded by a circle of friends she had hoped would be supportive during early motherhood, comparing the experience to high school cliques.

Although Tisdale didn’t name any individuals, fans and social media quickly speculated the group included famous moms like Trainor, Hilary Duff, and Mandy Moore. Tisdale’s representatives have denied that the speculation is accurate, saying her essay was about a different friend group entirely.

Trainor addressed the situation in a lighthearted TikTok video, showing herself at a computer with the caption “Me finding out about the apparent mom group drama” while her song “Still Don’t Care” played in the background.

The video, tagged with emojis and the hashtag “#stilldontcare,” suggests she’s taking the conversation with humor rather than engaging in a direct dispute. Her reaction received mixed responses online, with some viewers saying it inadvertently reinforced Tisdale’s original point about “mom group drama,” and others defending Trainor’s right to respond however she chooses.

Meanwhile, Trainor’s husband, Daryl Sabara, has publicly downplayed any feud, telling outlets that there’s “no drama” and that he and Trainor are focused on their children amid the speculation.

Other figures connected to the broader situation like Hilary Duff’s husband have made their own pointed comments online, adding fuel to the viral conversation. As of now, Trainor’s response stays playful and indirect, reflecting a desire to avoid further escalation while acknowledging the public interest in the story.
