Monday, January 19, 2026 - Former NBA player Lamar Odom has been arrested in Las Vegas for driving under the influence, TMZ has learned.
Odom was pulled over early Saturday
morning and subsequently booked for DUI. Authorities say the incident remains
under investigation. He was also cited for two traffic violations, including
driving more than 41 miles per hour over the speed limit and improper lane
change/failure to maintain lane.
As of the time of publication, Odom
still appeared to be in custody.
Odom, who has publicly documented past
struggles with drug and alcohol addiction, was previously arrested for DUI in
2013. In 2015, he nearly died of an overdose, prompting his then-wife Khloé
Kardashian to rush to his side during his recovery. Their relationship ended
after Odom relapsed in 2016.
Over his 14-year NBA career, Odom
played for four teams. In recent years, he has become an advocate for sobriety
and has offered support to others battling addiction, including Bam Margera, through
rehabilitation centers he operates.
