White House doctor releases TRUMP’s MRI results

-President Trump recently underwent an MRI scan during his October physical exam, a visit to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center that triggered renewed attention to his health.

The White House subsequently published a memo from his physician, Sean P. Barbabella, revealing that the imaging was focused on Trump’s cardiovascular system and abdomen, part of what the administration described as a “preventative” health screening.

According to the memo, the scans showed no abnormalities — heart chambers and major vessels were healthy, arteries showed no narrowing or inflammation, and abdominal organs appeared normal.

Trump himself had earlier told reporters he would release the results and described them as “perfect,” though he admitted he did not know which part of his body had been scanned — only that it “wasn’t the brain,” since he said he had passed a cognitive test.

While the White House frames the MRI as part of routine preventive care for someone of Trump’s age (he is 79), some medical observers note that cardiovascular and abdominal MRIs are not standard in typical physical exams — raising questions about what prompted the scan in the first place.
