SEAN ‘DIDDY’ COMBS has a camera follow him. 50 CENT has the footage.
Tuesday, December 2, 2025 -Rapper‑executive Sean "Diddy" Combs is objecting publicly to a new documentary slated to drop — saying the film uses “stolen” video and unauthorized footage of him, captured by a camera that followed him during a crucial time before his arrest.
The documentary, Sean Combs: The Reckoning, is produced by his longtime rival Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, who claims the material offers never‑before‑seen insight into Combs’ life as the legal net closed in.
According to the filmmakers and public statements, the footage includes moments from just days before Combs’ arrest — revealing him interacting with fans, discussing legal strategies on the phone, and otherwise acting as if still in full control of his public persona. 50 Cent has defended the documentary, saying it aims to shed light on “harmful behavior in the industry” and isn’t simply a personal vendetta.
Combs’ side argues the release of such footage is deeply unfair — alleging the footage was recorded for a different, unreleased project, and that using it now constitutes a breach of trust and possibly the law. With the documentary due to debut imminently, tensions are high — and the controversy only adds to public scrutiny of Combs’ conduct and legacy.
