Indiana homeowner charged in fatal shooting of house cleaner

Tuesday, November 18, 2025- An Indiana homeowner has been charged after fatally shooting a house cleaner who mistakenly knocked on the wrong door. 

Authorities say the incident occurred in the early morning hours, when the victim, responding to a scheduled cleaning job, arrived at the residence by accident. The homeowner reportedly opened fire, resulting in the worker’s death.
