A.J. BROWN makes no apology for his Twitch stream comments

Friday, November 14, 2025 -Three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver A.J. Brown made headlines this week when he bluntly refused to retract comments made during a livestream with gamer JankyRondo, where he described the current state of the Philadelphia Eagles’ offense as a “s-----show” and told fantasy-football owners, “If you got me on fantasy, man, get rid of me.”

Brown stood firm in a Wednesday locker-room session, stating, “After the game I said all the right answers, and you all still made a story … in that moment where I’m just talking to my friend I’m not apologizing for that … If you have eyes, you can see that.”

His refusal to apologize isn’t simply about a viral clip—it highlights an underlying frustration. Through eight games, Brown’s production is off: 31 receptions for 408 yards and three touchdowns, a career-low average of around 48 yards per game.

He emphasized that his frustration isn’t about stats or touches alone, noting, “It’s about doing what we’re supposed to do on offense … we can’t just keep slapping the Band-Aid over the defense doing their job and getting us out of trouble.”

With the Eagles sitting at 7-2 and approaching a pivotal Sunday night matchup against the Detroit Lions, Brown’s comments inject urgency into a team narrative that has centered on winning without consistently strong offensive performances.

Critics may view his remarks as a distraction, but Brown insists his focus remains on contribution and growth, saying, “I don’t care if I’m misunderstood… I’ll stand up in front of that and fall on that sword over and over again.”
