Tears and nostalgia fill ‘Dancing With the Stars’ dedication night


Thursday, October 16, 2025-“Dancing With the Stars” lit up with emotion during its Dedication Night as contestants performed heartfelt routines for the people who shaped their lives.


The evening’s highlight came from Parent Trap stars Elaine Hendrix and Lisa Ann Walter, whose reunion brought a wave of nostalgia. Their foxtrot to Natalie Cole’s “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)” celebrated friendship and earned warm praise from the judges.

Robert Irwin’s performance became the night’s emotional centerpiece. Dancing to Phil Collins’s “You’ll Be in My Heart,” Irwin paid tribute to his mother, Terri Irwin, who joined him on stage for a powerful moment that moved the audience to tears.
