Thursday, October 23, 2025 - Brazilian bodybuilding champion Kadu Santos has died suddenly, leaving fans and colleagues in shock.
The 11-time bodybuilding champion and two-time overall
Muscle Contest regional winner was admired for his dedication to fitness and
his strong presence both on and off the stage.
Known for sharing his intense workout routines and fitness
advice with over 13,000 followers on Instagram, Kadu also often posted photos
with his fiancée, Sabrina Wollman, a personal trainer he began dating in August
2021. He proposed to her in July this year.
At the time, Sabrina wrote a heartfelt message saying: “I
love you with all my heart. I admire you and I’m very proud of what we have
become together throughout these years… I choose you every day to share this
mad life with you.”
Kadu’s funeral was held in Novo Hamburgo, near Porto Alegre,
following an emotional wake attended by family, friends, and fellow athletes,
Daily Mail reported.
Fellow bodybuilder Diego Wiegand paid tribute,
saying:
“Today,
heaven is certainly celebrating. Kadu was completely out of the ordinary —
incredible as an athlete, coach, and even more so as a person. It’s very
difficult to accept, but you’ve left a legacy and will always be remembered. I
love you, brother.”
Fans also expressed their grief online, with one writing,
“Rest in peace, champion. Many people took inspiration from you.”
His training centre, PowerCT, described him as “an
example of dedication, discipline, and companionship, leaving a mark of
inspiration among colleagues, teachers, and friends.”
Sabrina has yet to make an official statement but shared
details of his funeral service on her Instagram page.
Earlier this year, another Brazilian bodybuilder, Wanderson
Da Silva Moreira, 30, also died suddenly after collapsing on stage
mid-competition in Campo Grande.
