Actors HUGH JACKMAN and SUTTON FOSTER debut as couple on red carpet in Los Angeles

Tuesday, October 28, 2025 - Hollywood actors Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster are officially done hiding their relationship.

The actors made their long-awaited red-carpet debut as a couple at the Los Angeles premiere of Jackman’s new movie, “Song Song Blue,” at the 2025 AFI Fest on Sunday night, October 26. The pair matched perfectly for the event, posing together in complementary black ensembles.

Jackman, 57, wore a classic black suit with a matching tie, while Foster, 50, rocked an elegant black dress paired with matching shoes and silver earrings, accessorized with a small black clutch.

The public appearance confirms months of speculation regarding their romance. Rumors that Jackman and Foster—who co-starred in the Broadway revival of “The Music Man”—were allegedly having an affair surfaced in November 2024, prior to their respective divorces.

A source close to Foster previously claimed the relationship was the reason the "X-Men" actor split from his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness. "A lot of people on Broadway knew, and we kept it quiet because both of them are so nice and great people," the insider stated at the time, adding, "But there was an affair and overlap.”

Jackman and Furness, 69, announced their separation in September 2023 after 27 years of marriage and finalized their divorce in June 2025. Foster, meanwhile, filed for divorce from her husband of 10 years, screenwriter Ted Griffin, around the same time news of her alleged secret romance with Jackman broke.

Despite earlier reports that the couple was “going out of their way to hide it,” they have been spotted together more frequently this year. Sources previously claimed the duo are “100% together and are in love and want to spend the rest of their lives together.”

In January, Jackman was seen supporting Foster at her “Once Upon a Mattress” play in Los Angeles, and just a few days later, they were photographed holding hands on a date night in Santa Monica.

During their time working together on Broadway, the stars openly gushed about their partnership. In May 2022, Foster spoke warmly of their working relationship, saying, “The show is so joyful, and I’m having the time of my life playing opposite this guy.”
