Israel raid in Northern Lebanon leaves 10 wounded including a child

Monday, July 7, 2025 -Ten people, including a child, were wounded in two Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health said in a statement that the Israeli airstrike that targeted Burj Rahal in Tyre district yesterday resulted in nine people being wounded.

The statement added that the raid on the town of Al-Zarariyeh in Sidon district resulted in a child sustaining serious injuries that required admission to intensive care.

In a related context, an Israeli force carried out an incursion after midnight into the vicinity of the Ayta ash Shab municipality and took up positions in the area.

On November 27, a ceasefire agreement in Lebanon went into effect, requiring Israeli forces to withdraw from border villages and towns in the south of the country within 60 days. The Lebanese government subsequently agreed to extend the deadline until February 18, but Israel remained in five areas and continued its violations.
