Tuesday, February 22, 2022 – Kitui County Governor, Charity Ngilu, has accused former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka of working with Deputy President William Ruto to sabotage President Uhuru Kenyatta’s agenda of uniting Kenyans through the Azimio La Umoja Movement.
Uhuru, together with Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader, Raila Odinga, came up with the Azimio la Umoja idea to unite all Kenyans, especially during this presidential election.
Uhuru has been trying to woo Kalonzo to join Azimio, but according to Ngilu, the former Vice President is not interested in joining the team.
Ngilu, who spoke in Taita Taveta while campaigning for Raila Odinga’s presidential bid on Tuesday, said Kalonzo is working with DP Ruto to divide the Kamba community ahead of the August 9th presidential election.
The county boss also urged Raila to be careful with Kalonzo joining him since he is too cunning and may leak Azimio’s secrets to DP Ruto.
