MARTHA KARUA tells UHURU to go home like KIBAKI – Let Kenyans choose their president peacefully in August!!

Friday, February 18, 2022 – Narc Kenya Chairperson, Martha Karua, has urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to go home in August and stop interfering with the 2022 presidential election.

Speaking on Friday when the Narc Kenya party held its annual National Delegates Conference at Ufungamano House, Karua urged Uhuru to behave like his predecessor, Mwai Kibaki, who went home peacefully after serving for two five year terms.

I want to tell anyone who may try to misinterpret the Constitution; the term limit means 10 years to steer the nation at the top level then exit and go do something else this is irrespective of your age, you could even be 40 but term limit ikifika unaenda nyumbani,” Karua said.

Karua also urged Kenyan voters to, during the forthcoming August polls, elect responsible leaders who have been tried and tested.

She urged the Wafula Chebukati-led Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to conduct a credible election and ensure freedom and fairness during the exercise.
