Monday, February 28, 2022 – Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka is making life hard for President Uhuru and ODM leader Raila Odinga with his indecisiveness on whether or not to join Azimio La Umoja.
This is after he postponed the signing of a coalition agreement between OKA and Azimio that had been scheduled for today.
The move to suspend the event technically puts their imminent move to join Raila Odinga’s Azimio la Umoja on hold.
According to a statement by OKA Spokesperson Fredrick Okango yesterday, the alliance is in the process of courting new interested parties that intend to join OKA.
“Our ideals continue to attract political formations which share the vision of a united nation anchored on the rule of law and equitable development. As a result, we continue to receive interests from the political formation that have expressed interests in joining us,” Okang’o said.
“As a result, we have rescheduled the official unveiling of the OKA coalition as well as the signing of the coalition agreement that was scheduled for tomorrow to a later date this week to allow the accommodation of our new parties,” Okang’o added.
The suspension came hours after OKA leaders met, Gatundu MP Moses Kuria who expressed his willingness to join the outfit, so long as they do not join Azimio la Umoja.
