Here is UHURU’s atomic plan of locking DP RUTO from Mt Kenya in August – Never joke with the son of Jomo!!

Friday, February 18, 2022 – National Assembly Majority Leader, Amos Muhinga Kimunya, has dismissed claims that Deputy President William Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has taken control of the Mt. Kenya region ahead of the August 9th presidential election.

In an interview with journalists on Friday after holding a consultative meeting with his electorate, Kimunya, who is also the Kipipiri Constituency Member of Parliament, said President Uhuru Kenyatta, who is also the Jubilee Party leader, has given signals that he will hit the ground running in the next few days and popularise the party and this will change UDA’s fortunes in the vote-rich region.

“We are going to the constituencies and the wards to ensure that the party is activated, and also explain to our people why we are rebranding.

The DP thinks he has made inroads in our region, but all these people are not yellow, they are red.

They have been waiting for a signal and it has been given. The myth that Jubilee is dead, or any other party is more popular in our region will have been debunked by our engagements.

By the time we go to Sagana next week, attend the National Delegates Convention and get back to the Ward levels to activate the party, I expect more than 40,000 voters in this constituency will be in Jubilee,” said Kimunya.

Kimunya ‘s sentiments come a day after an opinion poll conducted by TIFA showed that UDA is the most popular party in the country with 35 percent, followed by Orange Democratic Movement(ODM) with 24 percent and Jubilee Party third with only 4 percent support.
